This postcard depicts the Eagle and Phenix Mills in the 1910s. The textile mill was founded in Columbus in 1851 and expanded to Phenix City, Russell County, in Alabama on the western side of the Chattahoochee River in the late nineteenth century. It ceased operations in 2005.
