Dr. H. B. Ward House

The Dr. H. B. Ward House in Cuba, Sumter County, was built in 1880 for physician Henry Bascomb Ward, a graduate of the Medical College of Alabama in Mobile and first mayor of Cuba. The home is a traditional two-story I-house with elements of Greek Revival and Victorian decoration that were added at a later date. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
