This detail comes from a map of significant sites from the Creek War of 1813-14 included in The Pictorial Field Book of the War of 1812, published in 1869 by Benson Losson. The Creek village of Tallushatchee (spelled Tallasehatche here) is located at right-center across the Coosa River from Fort Strother and was the site of the first defeat of the Red Stick faction on November 3, 1813.
