Blind Boys of Alabama founding member Clarence Fountain (1929-2018) signs an autograph at a music store in Homewood, Jefferson County, in June 2002. In late 2009, Fountain and Blind Boys guitarist Sam Butler started a new group called Clarence Fountain, Sam Butler and the Boys.
