Charles Gomillion

Charles G. Gomillion (1900-1995) was a professor at Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute (now Tuskegee University) during the civil rights movement whose successful lawsuit against racially motivated gerrymandering in Tuskegee was central to the eventual passing of the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
