Cahaba Lilies

The threatened Cahaba lily, named for the Cahaba River, is a member of the amaryllis family that lives in fast-moving rivers and streams. The plant's showy flowers attract a number of pollinators as well as large numbers of canoers and kayakers during the spring blooming period.
