C. Eric Lincoln

Scholar, educator, and author C. Eric Lincoln was born and raised in Athens, Limestone County. Lincoln authored, co-authored, or edited 20 books and more than 150 articles about the African American experience. He was a founder and first president of the Black Academy of Letters.
