Buzzard Roost Spring

Buzzard Roost Spring, a feature on the Natchez Trace Parkway, is located in western Colbert County. The spring was the water source for the home of Chickasaw leader Levi Colbert and his brother, George Colbert, who ran a ferry service on the Tennessee River during the late eighteenth century.
