Bullard Home in Oak Bowery

This Greek Revival home in Oak Bowery, Lee County, was built in 1850 by plantation owner and politician James Ferguson Dowdell. In 1876, the parents of future military leader Robert Lee Bullard purchased the home and renamed it Oak Grove.
