This building in Camden, Wilcox County, once housed the law offices of Alabama governor Benjamin Meek Miller and his brother Joseph Neely Miller. It was built in the 1840s by Franklin King Beck, an attorney who served as a colonel in the Confederate army and was killed in the Battle of Resaca in Georgia in 1864.
