Belvoir

Belvoir is the Greek Revival home built by politician, jurist, and plantation owner Reuben Saffold II in Pleasant Hill, Dallas County, in the 1830s. It was the centerpiece of Saffold’s large cotton plantation worked by numerous enslaved people. It was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage in November 1990.
