This map produced by the U.S. Government Printing Office details the location of the Confederate and U.S. Army forces during the Battle of Fort Blakeley on April 9, 1964. The battle was the last push in the federal effort to take Mobile in the last days of the Civil War. The U.S. Army won a decisive victory over the vastly outnumbered Confederates.
