The banded mudbug (Lacunicambarus freudensteini) is a burrowing crayfish found in grassy areas, including residential lawns and maintained rights-of-ways such as highways, electric power lines, and gas lines from Mississippi Sound tributaries in Mobile County west to the Pascagoula River system in Mississippi.
