The Ancient Africa, Enslavement, and Civil War Museum in Selma, Dallas County, celebrates and interprets African American history from antiquity to the Civil War, with a significant focus on the impact of slavery. Founded in 2002, it is affiliated with the nearby National Voting Rights Museum and Institute.
