Pres. Albert J. H. Sloan II (1942-2005) poses on the campus of Miles College. Sloan was formerly dean of students at the school and assumed leadership of the college in 1989. He oversaw an expansion of the campus, the endowment, and student enrollment. He retired in 2005 and died soon after.
