The Alabama Women's Hall of Fame is located at the University of West Alabama in Livingston, Sumter County, and is a state agency that celebrates the lives and work of women who have contributed to the betterment of the state, the nation, and the world. Each inductee is commemorated with a plaque describing their life and importance; this one, installed in 2023, recognizes pioneering jurist Mahala Ashley Dickerson.
