Gov. Albert Brewer breaks ground at the site of the new east wing of the Alabama Department of Archives and History (ADAH) on September 2, 1970. With him are ADAH director Milo B. Howard and Judge Clinton Jackson Coley, chair of the Board of Trustees and one of the leaders in the drive to fund the expansion of ADAH.
