Jeremiah Denton POW Footage

This single frame is part of a propaganda film released by the North Vietnamese government in 1966. In it, U.S. Navy squadron leader Jeremiah A. Denton Jr. was interviewed by Japanese journalists during his 91-month ordeal as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam. He blinked the word "torture" in Morse Code to alert U.S. officials of the conditions under which American servicemen were being held.
