Correction Policy
The Encyclopedia of Alabama (EOA) welcomes suggested corrections of errors of fact in its entries. Because the EOA is a fact-checked, vetted publication, we appreciate knowing if an error has occurred. To send correction suggestions, identify the specific error(s) that you have spotted and provide at least one reference source by which we may check the correction for accuracy. Corrections that are not supported by verifiable, reliable sources will not be incorporated unless we can validate the correction by other means.
Please note:. Corrections must be errors in fact only; though you are welcome to note a differing interpretation of an entry, we cannot modify that entry. We have asked authors to note where there are credible differences of opinion among scholars and include those in their entry.
