Veterans Memorial Scenic Overlook is situated on the shores of Lake Frank Jackson just north of Opp, Covington County, on State Highway 331 south. Located at the Frank M. Jackson Scenic Overlook, the memorial honors Opp area veterans from all branches who were involved in America's military conflicts overseas. The site features shoreline access to the lake and picnic facilities. It was constructed in 2019 with the assistance of Opp AMVETS (American Veterans) Post 23.
