Three Cherokee Chiefs, 1762

This engraving depicts three Cherokee chiefs who traveled to London in 1762 as guests of the British government after the conclusion of the Anglo-Cherokee War (1758-1761). They are depicted in the traditional garb of Cherokee tribal leaders at the time.
