Stanfield-Worley Bluff Shelter

The Stanfield-Worley Bluff Shelter in Colbert County is an important archaeological site that records almost 10,000 years of human occupation. Artifacts and other evidence recovered from the site range from the Paleoindian Period to the Mississippian Period, which ended around 1550.
