Wade Hall was a prodigious collector of books, prints, photographs, and quilts, among other things. Of particular interest were "pulp fiction" popular paperbacks from the 1930s through the 1960s. After his death in 2015, Hall's estate donated the bulk of his collections to various institutions, with Auburn University Libraries receiving his paperback collection.
