Alabama Contemporary Art Center

The Alabama Contemporary Art Center in Mobile, Mobile County, is a non-profit exhibition space founded in 1999. The organization is located in the former headquarters of the Mobile Press-Register and features 16,000 square feet of exhibit space on the first and second floors. The center does not house permanent collections, focusing instead on promoting the works of living artists in rotating exhibits throughout the year. The third floor is used for educational and public programming and live performances.
