City of St. Jude Interpretive Center and Garden

The City of St. Jude Interpretive Center and Garden is a historical park located in Montgomery. The park preserves the site of City of St. Jude, a complex established by the Roman Catholic Church in 1937 to provide educational and healthcare services to the city's African American population during legal segregation. The City of St. Jude provided significant support services during the Selma to Montgomery March and was officially dedicated as a historic site on the 50th anniversary of the march in 2015.
