John Asa Rountree

Birmingham publisher and civic leader John Asa Rountree (1867-1936) was president of the Age-Herald Publishing Company, secretary of the Alabama Press Association, officer of the Birmingham Press Club, and leader in the Good Roads Movement in Alabama during the 1910s and 1920s.
