Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts

The Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Cullman County, includes a theater, studios, and music and theater classrooms. It also houses the Evelyn Burrow Museum, which is home to a 5,000-object collection of decorative arts pieces from the Victorian period to the present. Exhibits include porcelain, pottery, glass, and bronzes. They were donated by Cullman native Evelyn Burrow, who with her husband Ottis ran hotels and other businesses. After retiring, Burrow operated an antiques business, and the museum's holdings largely derived from that pursuit.
