USS Eufaula

The USS Eufaula (YTB-800) is seen underway at Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, Virginia, in June 1985. The ship is one of several harbor tugs named for Alabama cities. Located in Barbour County along the Chattahoochee River, Eufaula grew wealthy as a shipping point for cotton before and after the Civil War.
