Anniston Museum of Natural History

Now part of the Anniston Museums and Gardens complex, Anniston's Museum of Natural History was founded during the Great Depression by textile industrialist H. Severn Regar. Initially a collection of historical artifacts and bird taxidermy specimens, the museum's holdings have grown to include Egyptian mummies and dinosaur remains, more than 2,000 of which are on permanent display.
