The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament is part of a 400-acre Roman Catholic religious complex in Hanceville, Cullman County. Construction of the shrine and an associated monastery, modeled after thirteenth-century Italian churches with Romanesque and Gothic features, began in 1996, and the shrine was consecrated in December 1999. The complex was the vision of Mother Angelica, founder of the Eternal World Television Network.
