Tom Bevill Visitor Center and Museum

The Tom Bevill Visitor Center and Museum, opened in 1984, is located in a replica Greek Revival plantation home on the Tombigbee River in Pickens County. It houses exhibits on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway and was named for former U.S. Representative from Alabama Tom Bevill, who chaired the congressional committee that approved funding for the waterway project.
