The Southern Railroad Depot in Piedmont is a museum that celebrates the history of the town and serves as the headquarters of the Piedmont Historical Society. It was built in 1868 by the Southern Railway Company and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is also included on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.
