Calhoun County Courthouse

The Calhoun County Courthouse is located in Anniston, the county seat. It was built in 1900 by the architectural firm of Atlanta-based J. W. Golucke and is one of the earliest Neoclassical structures of its kind in the state. A fire destroyed the original tower in 1931 and cause significant damage to the building, and it was replaced with the current tower. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
