Louise Fletcher at the Academy Awards

Louise Fletcher poses with her fellow Oscar winners at the 1976 Academy Awards. Their film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Fletcher won for Best Actress, Jack Nicholson (center left) won for Best Actor, and Saul Zaentz (left) and Michael Douglas (right) won for producing the film. Fletcher's win generated media interest because she thanked her deaf parents in American Sign Language.
