The H. A. Smith House (built ca. 1895) and William A. Walker Sr. House (built ca. 1900) are located on Section Line Street in Gurley, Madison County. They are among several historic structures that make up the Gurley Historic District, which was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage in 1995 and the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
