Hudson Strode

Huntsville and Demopolis native Hudson Strode was a widely published author and a professor of creative writing at the University of Alabama. He mentored a significant number of successful writers and poets over the course of his career, including future Poet Laureate of Alabama Helen Norris, biographer and noted children's author Ann Waldron, and novelist and short-story writer Borden Deal.
