The Fresnel lens from the Sand Island lighthouse is featured in the extensive exhibit on the history and significance of lighthouses on the Gulf at the Fort Morgan Museum and State Historic Site in Baldwin County. It was donated by the U.S. Coast Guard in 1972, after the lighthouse was decommissioned.
