Chickasaw Beaded Cap

This hand-beaded cap, exhibited at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art in Tuscumbia, belonged to Chickasaw leader George Colbert (c. 1764-1839). Colbert County was named for brothers George and Levi Colbert.
