Frank Boykin

Bladon Springs native Frank William Boykin (1885-1969) represented Alabama's First Congressional District in the U.S. House for nearly 30 years, where he served as chairman of the Committee on Patents 1943 to 1947. Prior to taking public office his interests in the timber and turpentine industries made him one of the wealthiest men in southwest Alabama.
