Battlefield at Horseshoe Bend

An interpretive sign sits overlooking the site of the final battle of the Creek War of 1813-14 at Horseshoe Bend National Military Park in Tallapoosa County. The park, located in Tallapoosa County and established in 1959, encompasses 2,040 acres and preserves the site of the Creek settlement and the battlefield.
