ADDSCO Docks on Pinto Island

The first Alabama Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Company facility was built in 1916 on Pinto Island, located just north of Mobile. The site saw the manufacture of 20 Liberty Ships for the U.S. Navy during World War II.
