Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride

The Annual Trail of Tears Motorcycle Ride began in 1994 to honor the memory of the Cherokees, Creeks, and other Native Americans who were forced to march west to Indian Territory (now Oklahoma) during the 1830s. The event begins in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and ends in Waterloo, Lauderdale County, and in recent years has drawn more than 150,000 riders.
