This pencil and watercolor composition is one of several components of Nall's 1979 reinterpretation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. In it, Nall reimagines Carroll as Alice. The series is among the many works in the collections of the International Arts Center at Troy University in Nall's hometown of Troy, Pike County, and is displayed in the Nall Museum and Gallery.
