Joel Eddins Cabin

The Joel Eddins House, a "hall and parlor" log cabin at Burritt on the Mountain, was built in 1810 and is the oldest documented building in Alabama. It was originally built near Ardmore, Limestone County, by Joel Eddins, who relocated from South Carolina. The cabin was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and acquired by the historic park in 2007.
