1909 Maxwell Runabout

This 1909 Maxwell Runabout is one of several vintage cars on display at the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum in Tuscaloosa. Maxwell automobiles were manufactured in the United States from 1904 to 1925. The company was founded in Tarrytown, New York, and established what was at the time the largest automotive factory in the world in New Castle, Indiana, in 1907.
