Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) founder and executive director Bryan Stevenson speaks at TED2012: Full Spectrum in March 2012 in Long Beach, California. EJI is a nonprofit organization that provides legal representation to impoverished defendants and prisoners and advocates against extreme sentences for juvenile offenders. In 2014, Stevenson published the book Just Mercy, which was released as a film in 2019 to critical acclaim.
