Mort Glosser Amphitheater

The historic Mort Glosser Amphitheater is an outdoor performance venue on the Coosa River in downtown Gadsden, Etowah County. The sandstone structure was built in 1935 as a Works Progress Administration project. Originally called Legion Park Bowl, the facility was renamed in honor of Glosser, a Gadsden high school band director, in 1997. The amphitheater was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
