W. C. Handy Birthplace, Museum, and Library

The W. C. Handy Birthplace, Museum, and Library is located in Florence in southern Lauderdale County. It features the restored log cabin that was his birthplace on the grounds and houses a large collection of Handy's papers, sheet music, and instruments.
