The powerhouse building for the Langdale cotton mills. The company was founded in 1866 as the Alabama and Georgia Manufacturing Company and renamed Langdale Mills in 1880. Its buildings are contributing properties to the Langdale Historic District in Valley, Chambers County, and Harris County, Georgia, across the Chattahoochee River.
