Lakeview

Lakeview is located in southwestern DeKalb County in the northeastern part of the state. It has a mayor/city council form of government.

History

The town is located on top of Sand Mountain.

According to 2020 Census estimates, Lakeview recorded a population of 201. Of that number, 100 percent of the population reported themselves as white. The median household income was $49,375 and the per capita income was $16,442.

According to 2020 Census estimates, the workforce in Kinsey was divided among the following industrial categories:

Education

Students in Lakeview attend DeKalb County schools; no public schools are located within the town limits.

Transportation

State Highway 75 bisects Lakeview running northeast-southwest. County Highway 843 passes just north of town running northwest-southeast.
